With “ABC”, Italian graphic artist Bruno Munari has created a colourful introduction to the world of letters.

With his aesthetic power, he designs each letter and encourages even very young children to understand and play with the letters. Munari’s ABC is not just a powerful, colourful illustration of the alphabet, Munari tells stories. The letters and pictures stand for themselves and tell a story: Here comes the gorgeous blue butterfly (B for “butterfly”), which is so stunning that it takes up the whole page and pushes the banana and the book to the edge.
